Resolved Question: Little Ducky found! I need help?!?
I was playing with my dog with a Frisbee about 15 minutes ago. The Frisbee went to far and landed in what looked like a nest or a hole from where I was standing. I went to get it and saw a ducky egg. Only 1 though. I thought ” Must be infertile and didn’t hatch.” So I left it there and started walking back.

I heard some cracking noises and looked back. What did I see? I cute little baby ducky!

It looked at me and toddled over to me. I wanted to keep it, but I can get a fine for ”taking” wildlife. I walked ALL around the lake and checked the other 2 lakes in my community. No ducks. I was confused and just started walking around hoping I would find a momma duck. And I did. Dead. Her baby’s too. They were squished on the road :( So, as any sane person would do, I took the baby home. I filled up my bathtub and put her in the bathtub ( she still is in it ). I remembered I had baby bird formula from when my cockatiels were little chicks.

I prepared it, and tried to give her some, but she straight out ignored it. And when she did eat a little she spit it out :P

I don’t know what to give her now so help?

~*Sushi*
Sorry I didn’t make it clear, the momma duck has been at the lake and sitting on the eggs for I think maybe a week. Not sure though. I called my vet and she said to feed her some chicken mash, so I went to the feed store and got some. She   read more…
